Dr. Neal ElAttrache is a member of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Foundation. He serves on the Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of Medical Affairs for the Kerlan-Jobe Institute, a collaboration with Cedars-Sinai whose goal is to lead advancements in the fields of orthopedics and sports medicine on a global scale. 

Dr. Neal ElAttrache is Head Team Physician for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Rams. He is Orthopedic Consultant to the Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and Anaheim Ducks and has served as Senior Surgeon for on-site surgical support for USOC at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Dr. Neal ElAttrache is frequently recognized as a top sports medicine specialist, having been identified as one of the "Top 50 Most Powerful in L.A. Sports" by the Los Angeles Daily News and one of "The 100 most powerful people in MLB" by USA Today. He has been selected by peer review process to "Best Doctors in America", listed as one of "America's Top Doctors"™ by Castle Connolly, and as a "Super Doctor" by SuperDoctors of Southern California. 


Baseball Prospectus, Bleacher Report, and Sports Illustrated online have listed him as one of the "Top 10 Sports Medicine Doctors in America." He has been recognized as one of the "Top 19 U.S. Sports Medicine Specialists," and "Top 20 North American Shoulder Surgeons" by Orthopedics This Week as well as one of "59 Great Orthopedic Surgeons Recommended by Healthcare Leaders," and as an "Orthopedic Surgeon to Know" by Becker's Orthopedic and Spine Review. The Hollywood Reporter has recognized him as one of "Hollywood's Top Doctors" and as one of the "Best Orthopedic Surgeons in Los Angeles."

Neal ElAttrache, MD was Inducted as the 47th President of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine on July 2018. 

He has also been Elected as President of the Herodicus Society from July 2016 to July 2017.

After completing his studies at the University of Notre Dame in 1981, Dr. ElAttrache earned his medical doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh in 1985 where he also completed his internship in general surgery and his orthopedic surgery residency before becoming a sports medicine fellow at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in 1990. Dr. ElAttrache joined Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic directly following his fellowship.


Dr. Neal ElAttrache is a former member of the Executive Committee of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Association and former Program Chairman for the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine. Additionally, he has been selected for membership to the American Orthopaedic Association, which recognizes leadership and significant contribution to the art and science of orthopedic surgery. He has also been selected for membership to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, and the NFL Physicians Society.

Dr. Neal ElAttrache has authored 40 textbook chapters, 100 research journal articles, 10 orthopedic instructional videos, and has given over 317 lectures at national and international orthopedic surgery conferences.
