"Noah Syndergaard got 'positive' news Thursday after seeking a second opinion on his torn lat muscle, a source close to the right-hander said. Syndergaard, however, is still looking at an extended stay on the disabled list, according to team sources. The second opinion revealed no complicating issues with the tear," reports the New York Daily News.
